Broker acts as agent for Shipper in arranging transportation with qualified motor carriers. Broker is not itself the motor carrier and does not take possession of the freight.
Standard invoice terms are Net 30 unless otherwise agreed. Detention accessorials are billed at $50/hour after a 2-hour free period at each stop.
Cargo damage claims are handled directly with the motor carrier, subject to standard $100k coverage. Broker will facilitate claim initiation and documentation retrieval.
